Are you interested in learning more about the A.M.E. Church? Can you sacrifice one evening per month? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, First AME's YPD may be the program for you. The Young People's Division of the Women's Missionary Society meets the first Wednesday of each month in the Educational Center of the church. The purpose of the YPD is to educate the youth of the A.M.E. church through Bible study; understanding of the background of the A.M.E. (African Methodist Episcopal) church and the Missionary Society; to develop strong Christian social relationships dealing with current social issues. |
